Our heritage turkeys are the majestic Bourbon Reds, named for Bourbon County, Kentucky and their beautiful reddish-brown plumage.  They are active foragers and do well out on our pasture. They are hatched here on the farm, raised on organically managed pastures and supplemented with certified gmo/pesticide/herbicide-free food. We process them here on the farm under the WV Producer/Grower 1000 Poultry Limit Exemption. 

Last year we added a small flock of Narragansets to the farm. This yer we will have Bourbon Reds, Narragansets and a mix of the two available for Thanksgiving 2022.

We will offer fresh turkey for Thanksgiving 2022. They make an attractive, sustainable and delicious addition to your dinner table.
