We added Pork to our farm in 2021.

 

We currently buy young Gloucester Old Spotted pigs from an amazing family farm just south from us in Virginia who allow their pigs to be born in a safe and free-range environment with no farrowing crates or pig pens.

​

We bring the pigs home when they are weaned and raise them out on pasture and in the woods on our farm. They are fed whey and milk from our goats, extra produce from our garden and a GMO-free feed that is tested for herbicides and pesticides. 

​

In the fall we gently load up the hogs we have lovingly raised and transport them to our processor in Gettysburg who then humanely turns them into chemical and nitrate-free pork.
